Rita Ruiz, RDH
As a native Houstonian, Rita earned her R.D.H. license in 1988 from the University of Texas Health Science Center, in Houston. She has practiced dental hygiene for 33 years, and is the longest standing employee of Normandy Dental since it’s inception in October 1992. She has treated thousands of patients new and old, many of whom began coming to Normandy Dental small children, grew into adults, and now bring their children to her. Rita takes pride in treating every one of her patients with courtesy, respect, and gentle care.
Away from the office, Rita enjoys many different passions including: singing and performing signed praise dances for her church, spending time with her family and dogs, and Karate. In October 2021, Rita earned her black belt in Karate, and is training to earn her 1st dan by April 2023. She is aspiring to become a sensei in the future, hoping to give back to other students what she has learned.
Crystal Morris, RDH
Crystal is a 2012 graduate from the Lone Star College Kingwood Dental Hygiene program. She was a dental assistant for 10 years prior to graduating hygiene school.
She loves helping patients feel good about their smile and enjoys the time spent with each patient in her chair.
When she’s not cleaning your teeth, she enjoys hanging out with her friends/family, playing games, glamping, and loves traveling with her husband, 2 kids, and 2 fur babies.
Stephanie Mikesell, RDH
Registered Dental Hygienist Stephanie Mikesell grew up in Grand Ledge Michigan. Stephanie then spent time in the United States Navy working on the catapults aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln. After moving around the country, she returned to Michigan Earning her Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene in 2010.
Stephanie always felt the pull to move to Texas so she made the move with her two children in 2014. Since moving she has been enjoying taking country dance lessons and loves to go out two-stepping. She also likes seeing all the sights in her new state!
Stephanie appreciates the wide variety of patients at Normandy dental and is focused on patient education and care. Building strong patient relationships and dental health is a top priority.
